There are many ways to support First Unitarian Society and
to act as good stewards of the wonderful community that we all enjoy. Please
follow the links below for information about different areas of stewardship. If
you are not able to find what you are looking for, please contact the FUS Director
of Development.
FUS is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization, so your donation are tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law. We are able to accept donations and payments by cash, check, credit card, and stock transfers.
If you want to transfer stocks to FUS, there are a few things you will need to know:
First, please e-mail Sally Bowers to let her know what type of stock you are transferring, what quantity, and how you want it to be credited. This is very important, because we have no other way of knowing from whom the transfer is coming.

It's important to note that mutual funds are more difficult to accept than regular stocks, and some mutual funds can't be accepted because of brokers' inability to hold them. Those that can be transferred can take longer than expected. To find out if specific mutual fund shares can be transferred, please provide FUS with both the stock ticker symbol and the CUSIP # for verification.
