Each weekend, like many places of worship, we collect an offering at each service. Unlike some other congregations, we give 50% of our collection away. We call this the Outreach Offering. 

Each year FUS staff develop a calendar of organizations in the fall for the upcoming church year (academic calendar). You can nominate an organization to be included on the calendar by emailing the organization's name and why you nominated them to Erich Pitcher.

Since 2005, we have collected and distributed over $113,000 to many wonderful non-profit groups.

Next time the basket comes your way, please know that half of what you give goes to build a more socially just community, while the other half supports the many wonderful programs here at FUS. Please give generously.
