GO Vote Initiative

This new initiative will be meeting on a monthly basis in preparation for a GO Vote 2012 effort. Voting is the fundamental building block of our democracy. For that reason, the way we will expand and defend democracy for the next church year is through Voter Registration, Education, and Empowerment.

Our focus will be on:

1. Reducing and eliminating barriers to voting (including assisting in the procurement of IDs for voting, if they are necessary)

2. Registering people to vote

3. Assisting people in getting to the polls.
